Deep Tissue

DEEP TISSUE

The famous "deep tissue", a lot of agens speaks about it and asks for it, but littlereally know what it is. Deep Tissue Massage is a technique usually performed without oil with a certain intensity in order to release the deepest tensions. Movements can be performed very slowly and deeply. They are mostly focused on the muscles and fascia that surround them. It's about grabbing and stretching fabrics instead of slipping on them. Often the customer will feel the "effect of a steamroller" and sometimes pinches tissue. It is therefore not a question of repeating, in a stronger way, the same maneuvers as in Swedish massage.

Essentially therapeutic, the deep tissue massage is to undo the adhesions that exist between the different layers of muscles and fascia, which are causing pain and mobility restrictions. Unlike Swedish massage, which requires crushing muscle pressure to the center of the body, deep tissue massage is not about sliding over the tissues, but rather stretching them to undo the adhesions between the muscle layers.

Also, the "deep tissue" is less a work of thumbs and fingers, we use rather the fists, forearms, elbows and joints. The techniques used allow the work of muscle in its three dimensions instead of just crush. Thus, the work of relaxation at the level of fascia made possible, gives more space to the muscle, allowing it to relax more easily. Unlike many thoughts, deep tissue massage is not necessarily painful. On the other hand, there may be some discomfort during the massage in places where there are high tensions. Regardless of the type of massage, it is important to communicate with the therapist if you feel pain and at that time the techniques can be changed. To continue, with the "deep tissue", This technique of realignment of the muscular layers is especially recommended in case of:

• decreased mobility of the muscles
• lesions attributable to repetitive work
• posture problems
• chronic pain due to injury
• spasms and localized muscular tension
• fibromyalgia
• arthritic pain

After the massage, a great feeling of lightness, deep tissue massage promotes the secretion of endorphins, hormones that relieve pain and also provide a sense of well-being. In addition, it improves the quality of sleep. More importantly, a relaxation of muscle tension prolonged
